The Leader Team is led by Brian Rogers, a bizarre creature indeed.
He is assisted by Ben Watts, Ian Guy and Steve Davenport.
Hester Rogers is unpaid admin, treasurer and all-round good egg.
Pete Heighway is our DoE mentor.

We meet at the HQ of 1st Pucklechurch Scout Group, which is sited next to the Community Centre in the heart of the village of Pucklechurch in South Gloucestershire.
![]()
Our meetings normally run from 7.30 to 9.30pm on Mondays evenings, but this may vary dependent on weather, time of year and the nature of the activity.
We also try to be as flexible as possible at key times of the year, such as examination times, when revising and exam taking are at a priority.

Our members come from the rural eastern quarter of South Gloucestershire.
Principally the village of Pucklechurch, but also from Hinton, Dyrham, Doynton, Wick and Westerleigh.

Membership of the unit costs £90 per year, divided into several payments by school term.
As we are a part of the Scout Association, we wear the Explorer Scout uniform, which consists of a beige shirt or blouse and unit neckerchief. The shirt costs £18 and the necker costs £6.50. However, we only wear full uniform on major occasions, such as parades, or when we are carrying out service projects when we need to be seen as scouts. At other times we wear activity wear with the necker.
More information on the uniform, with details of where the badges go can be found by clicking here.
