Welcome to the website of Tohil Explorer Scout Unit.
We are a scout unit for 14 to 18 year old boys and girls in the Cotswold Edge district
of the County of Avon in the UK.
We provide scouting to young people in many of the villages in the eastern
quarter of South Gloucestershire, centred on Pucklechurch.
As most of our area is rural, we have the terrific opportunity to be outside
for most of the year, enjoying the great outdoors at camps and on expeditions.

Tohil is the Mayan god of fire- a commodity that is highly prized at all of
our camps.
In fact, I don't think that many of us could live without it!

We aim to provide a programme that fully matches both the Chief Scout and Queen's Scout Awards and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.
Activities range from rufty-tufty outdoorsy things to juggling and circus skills, craft work and cooking.
